The race of life can be challenging at times. As a parent, you need a pit stop to refuel your soul, readjust your mindset and strengthen the most important team - the family.
Pit Stop 4 Parents is a radio program designed for parents who are in the race, but need to come to a Pit Stop to be replenished.
Hosts John Steigerwald, Executive Director of North Carolina Boy’s Academy, and Matt Clark, former Fox Sports analyst and NASCAR pit crew coach, will be discussing relevant issues about raising kids in this generation.
Meet the hosts
John Steigerwald has been pastoring for over 30 years. Throughout his ministry, he has pioneered and planted several church works and established the first Teen Challenge program in Jamaica in 1996 for adult men. In 2013, he and his wife Deralyn started the North Carolina Boy’s Academy, which is a ministry of Teen Challenge for adolescent boys. John and Deralyn have been married for 31 years and have 4 grown children.
Matt Clark has over 25 years of experience in performance coaching both on and off the race track. He spent the last 15 years working as a NASCAR pit crew coach, executive leader and on-air analyst. Matt and his wife, Karen, live in Concord, NC with their two sons. They have been married for 25 years.
TOPICS to be discussed on the air will be the entitled generation, the culture of compromise, and parental strength.
